Cobalt Slinkys are also soft and silky to the touch, making string bending a breeze.

If you have a guitar with a Bigsby bridge you should consider getting a set of these 12 gauge strings. Any guitar tech who knows his craft will tell you that a Bigsby whammy requires heavier gauge strings. I know that 12 may seem like rebar to folks who usually play 9s or 8s. I have been using 10s for over 3 decades and decided to go out on a limb and get some of these cobalt 12s and surprise, surprise, they are quite comfortable and have completely eliminated my tuning problems on my Gretsch. If you are having problems keeping a Bigsby equipped guitar in tune then I suggest these before having any work or alterations done on your guitar. If you are using 8s or 9s with a Bigsby and refuse to change, all I can say is, turn way down so as not to ruin the sound your bandmates are making.
