Designed for high power applications in main PA systems and sub-woofers, there is nothing that shakes the house like a KILOMAX. A massive 109 oz. cast frame magnet structure, double spider suspension, and integrated front loaded heat sink all combine to pound out whatever you pound in. This is the 18 inch version of the Kilomax speaker, offering unparalleled low end response for fantastic sound, especially when paired with 2x10 and 4x10 enclosures.

Overall: I have 4 18 subs with low rider peavey 18 speakers in them,these are great speakers and I`ll continue using them.I have 2 18 subs with 18 pro riders in um.I bridged a crown ce 4000 @4 ohms on the pro riders and they were stuggling a litte bit so I PUT A KILOMAX IN 1 and we are now the god of thunder I will be getting another kilomax asap great tuff speaker

"Awesome if you power it correctly!"
Sound: I jsut reloaded my Yorkville Elite 2 x 18 subs with these drivers which have been in operation for about a month now. In a word...awesome. These monsters need power though. In fact, to push them properly I use the QSC RMX2450 power amp in bridged mono 2500 watts @ 4 ohms. You can barely stand in front of these now. Feature: All PRO speakers should have these binding post connectors. Period. Value: Have you seen the cost of a JBL driver rated at half the power? Manufacturer Support: The Eminence people are great to deal with. Very helpful because they know their products. The Wow Factor: Because of the obvious craftsmanship and of course the heat sink, this is by far the most appealing (visually) woofer out there.
