Harkening back to the globally accepted EV FM series, the TX1122FM and TX1152FM take that legacy and advance it with a healthy dose of innovative ElectroVoice engineering. The most notable innovation is the split baffle design with patent pending SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) technology. A split baffle creates two very important benefits: moving the acoustic origins of the compression driver and woofer close together, and the split in the baffle becomes the port, allowing the entire enclosure to become much more compact. The result is "signal synchronized" with near perfect phase summation! The aesthetically unique Backbone grille not only looks great, but also provides greater strength and damage resistance than simple grille block designs. Proprietary ergonomically correct handles and angled input panels make the TourX FM models easy to transport and set up in critical stage monitoring applications.

"Best floormonitor ever used"
Sound: Sound of this speaker monitor is excellent. We use it everywhere from Churches through school halls to small venues. if you use EV Q99 amp you will never get distortion out of this monitor. I don't know how they did it. I've tried an experiment: did turn the amp knobs on max till the red led on amp turned constantly on and did not hear any distortion :) good job EV! Feature: It's speaker. only one purpose... :) Ease of Use: Again... It's speaker. Plug in and play. Quality: The rotatable logo did go out, so i needed to remove the grill and put the logo back. it takes 10 minutes to do this. Value: The price is high but worth of it. best monitor i have ever seen/heard. Manufacturer Support: Did not use. The Wow Factor: I will never sell it... only if my life depends on it. :) Overall: I use it more than year. it has no scratch and look awesome. a think this is lifetime monitor for me :) don't want to replace it... I think I will get some more if money will be.
