I've had the "sister" version of this mike since 1991....It has never failed me....its longevity has amazed me. I have used this mike in tandem with the SM58 and the sound of the EV blows away the SM58. I don't even try to use the SM58 any more, and am strongly urging my mates to all upgrade to this mike.
