The FREEZE is the easiest pedal I've ever reviewed. I plugged it in and it just works. All the functions, Latch, Slow & Fast work as described and the volume knob which adjusts the "memorized" sound is easy to adjust and has perfect range. It's also possible to configure the fade times via simple steps outlined in the instructionsI'm a learning Jazz Student using the Freeze to drone various chords which gives me the chance to search for interesting runs and to sample various scales, triads and etc. against various chords. It's actually pretty inspirational as noodling around with the droning chords allows a player to "let your mind wonder" while looking for improvisational stuff. The drone is really nice when put through vibrato or chorus pedals and Freeze is VERY easy to use. My unit arrived with a quiet "NON-CLICKING" foot switch. I guess the early units had the regular E-H clicking switch as there's videos on YouTube showing how to replace the switch.zZounds shipping is amazing. I live in Central California, ordered the unit midday on the 19th and it arrived today on the 20th. Pretty Dazzling!
