Built-in wheels, a very durable design, and a modest price tag make the Eden EX-410 an excellent and powerful cab for gigging bassists.

Eden 4x10 bass cabinets have earned a reputation as an industry standard, and as soon as you fire up the EX410 you'll understand why. This beastly cab features a full and all-natural bass sound from four 10" ES1040-XL16 speakers and a T2004 low-distortion tweeter horn, in a tough enclosure with one 1/4-inch and 2 Speakon inputs. With a frequency response of 45 Hz to 14 kHz, power handling of 600 watts RMS, and 101 dB SPL sensitivity, this cab is a great match for many pro bass amp heads. Also, it won't break your back, weighing in at 65 pounds. The Eden name has been rocking since the mid-'70s, and all of that history makes for a striking piece of gear to handle your bass tone.

Quality Speakers and Tweeter Horn

Your bass won't realize its full tonal potential without the proper speakers. This monster cab features four ES1040-XL16 speakers to project the full-bodied sound of your bass signal. These babies propel all tone and no mud, assuring you a consistently well-balanced sound gig after gig. Adding more color to your tone is a low-distortion tweeter horn. Together, all of the facets of your EX410 cab work to bring you a wide frequency range of 45 Hz to 14 kHz, so your bass can have as much boom and brightness as you want.

Built to Withstand Gig After Gig

If you want a cab that can handle the battle scars that come with tours and gigs, then the EX410 has you covered. This beast will withstand the trials of the road without sacrificing your tone. Designed with a read more knowledge of the beating that a cabinet takes from load-in to tear-down, the EX410 is built to last.

I would go back to the EX410, with this amp.. but if I ever go up to a Eden WT800 I'll probably get an 8 ohm 8X10. Right now this rig really suits my needs. Anything better would be light years above me, or what I need. Like I wrote, I knew what I was getting due to hearing it on youtube. If you want to sell these fast show us on youtube!

Sound
I own the EX410 cabinet along with an En300 Eden amp. The amp bass, mid, and treble really sing through this. You can really get some clean lows, even the low B on a 5 is distinct. The combination I have, or a World Traveler will help you hear runs better than you ever have before, so it encourages you branch out to more difficult bass licks. By itself I love the controlable horn between that and the amp you can do many different styles (almost british, motown, to clean rock) without a pedal. I've used it at home, and at church and it really does very well. It has a clean distinct sound and encourages me not to do sloppy fretting. I use the cabinet with my Peavey Cirus 5 string and play contemporary Christian. The only thing I do not like is the spring back moving handles (I'd prefer stationary handles), but I do love the provided casters.

Features
The controalble horn is AWESOME! The only thing I do not like is the spring back moving handles (I'd prefer stationary handles), but I do love the provided casters.

Ease of Use read more
It is extremely easy to get great clear, clean sounds from this cab. With the Eden EN300 amp I have it is beyond easy to change the sound entirely. You would think I'm playing a pedal, and I'm not! I did not get a manuel with the cabinet, however it is intuitive and marked visiably.

Quality
I love the fact that Eden tune's their cabinets. Just an extra step in quality. Love the cabinet and it's fairly heavy so I expect it's gonna last. Handles are the only thing that worries me (after hearing many don't like spring loaded handles due to rattling latter on)

Value
It was extremely hard to find a 4 ohm 4X10 cabinet. So as far as value I'm not exactly sure there wasn't anything new in stores in a 200 mile radius to compare it to. The one I did find would have to be ordered and only had a cut on/ off on the horn, and didn't have void free birch. So I think I got a deal, but I know I got what I paid for...

Manufacturer Support
I haven't had too. But they have a great web site, and continue to work on all of their products even if they are discontinued... that's awesome in my book.

The Wow Factor
Okay I really like this product, really think it's goning to make me a better player by hearing things lost in the mix before. And yes after hearing Eden product on You Tube I wanted it, saved for it, and bought it. But what sold me was hearing Eden products. If your company wants to sell them, simply put them on You tube...
