Unlike many envelope filters when used on bass, the Eden actually retains the bass. In fact you can dial in a deep funky auto wah sound, without the trebly chirping and quacking that so many filters like the MXR seem to exhibit. Don’t get me wrong, I love the MXR too, its just that the Eden has a much more bass driven presence that reacts incredibly well with added distortion and/or boost pedals. Especially when they are placed before the Eden in my signal chain. On a final note, this pedal plays very nice with other pedals and is quiet as a mouse on it’s own. Only issue so to speak is the included 15v wall wart. I use an MXR PSU that allows me to dial an out to 15v so for me its a nonissue.
