I've been wanting to try one of these pedals for a while now but I haven't found them in any of my local shops so I decided to go for it and order one. I watched several video demos of it so I was fairly certain I wanted it. I'm so glad I finally got one because this thing rocks! I've always been frustrated with the distortion options for bass out there but I can get an awesome gritty tone with this pedal without sacrificing any of the bottom end. The pedal feels well made and is fairly compact. I love that it has effects loops for both channels, as well as true bypass. The true bypass can be an issue for some since the effects loops won't work with the pedal turned off. You won't get a super high-gain distortion with this box, but more of a mid-gain smooth overdrive. It gives me just the right amount of "dirt" in my tone and gives it an added edge while also making it sound a bit "fatter." It's a bit expensive, but it was well worth the price to me. I love it!

Musical Background:

I've been playing bass for about 8 years.

Musical Style:

Progressive metal, death metal
