RT Player family is family of a stand-alone applications (for PC/Mac), easy-to-use host application for chaining any VST 2 compatible VST instruments and plug-ins, which allows control of all chained VST instruments and plug-in parameters from any MIDI controller.
This application has an ASIO-compatible in/out interface, which means that PCI audio cards, USB audio interfaces and FireWire audio interfaces with low latency ASIO drivers (less than 10 ms) can be used for realtime performance (on stage or in the studio).
RT Player Pro 2.1 is high end application, which contains all of the important features required by professional users of VSTi and VST plugins for work in the studio and for live performance. All 13 Stompn' FX are included as well as support for the award winning C-Mexx MIR remote control (Most Innovative Product of the Year 2003 by Electronic Musician).
