No longer available at zZounds
The PDP Concept Maple Exotic 5-piece kit has all-maple shells with a walnut veneer, giving you the look of a boutique DW kit for a great price.

Drum Workshop has become synonymous with custom exotic finishes, while at the same time, PDP Concept Series drums have provided drummers with the user-friendly features and build-quality that had previously been reserved for much more expensive boutique sets. Concept Maple Exotics deliver on both of these promises in a big way. Offered in a 5-piece F.A.S.T. configuration with the all-maple shells are finished in a rich Walnut veneer.

Sizes include an 18x22" virgin bass drum, 8x10" and 9x12" rack toms, a 14x16" floor tom, and a matching 5.5x14" snare drum. Mounting hardware for the rack toms is also included in the shell pack.

I've owned several other kits in the past-Mapex Saturn, Gretsch Brooklyn and Tama Starclassic to name a few. This PDP kit out performs them all. The finish and workmanship on these drums is top notch. Replaced the stock heads on the toms with Evans Hydraulics and put an Aquarian Super Kick II on the kick.
