Neon is the second in DR's SuperStrings series. Super bright in day light, and with stage lighting. DR Strings Neon strings are so bright in appearance "they look like they are on fire." DR Strings Neon strings shine brightly under stage lights, and are 100 percent black light active so they glow strongly under UV lighting. And DR Strings Neon sound as good as they look. As Joey Clemment from Selena Gomez said, "Yeah they look great, but they sound incredible!"

The DR Strings Neon Electric Guitar Strings are nickel plated strings wound on round cores for a great clear and bright sound.

DR Strings Neon is the first coated string to make NO apologies. While Neon lasts as long as a coated string should (three to four times as long as uncoated strings) they sound as good, or better than uncoated strings... no excuses.

K3 Coating Care

The K3 coating on Extra-life strings is designed for use with standard picks and fingers. The K3 coating can be damaged by scraping against metal. It is important that care be taken when stringing guitars and basses where the strings are passed through a metal block or bridge. Scraping can damage the coating. zZounds is an authorized dealer of DR Strings products.

"Awesome looks...High price!"

Sound: The strings sound pretty good...I tried the GREEN & ORANGE...Both packs the low E string had a dead sound..Didn't have the tone as the other strings. Feature: FEATURES...The NEON color is cool...Love the way it looks on stage with lights...Had no problems with the GREEN.... The ORANGE where I use the pick....PAINT CAME OFF...also where the string lays on fret...paint came off...very disappointed.. Ease of Use: Strings....everyone has their own opinion...The dead string killed the tone I seek. Quality: As above..the paint wore off of the ORANGE strings when it came into contact with my pick or the frets... ( Classic Rock/Country/Blues) Value: Not worth the price... Manufacturer Support: Since I only had a 30 day warranty...I didn't bother....Just decided not to buy the NEON again. The Wow Factor: I don't plan on buying anymore....I'd use if they were given to me...But I'd be sure to keep an air can to spray oput the pick ups after use...due to the paint residue... Overall: I was satisfied for 2 weekend shows with the GREEN.....Before the First Show was over, with the ORANGE...I was very disappointed!
