DR Strings' Dragonskin Clear-Coated bronze acoustic strings are hard-coated using K3 technology, which protects from corrosion without interfering with tone.

Dragon Skin strings have a proprietary patented #8487168 coating from K3 Technology Coating that makes them the first coated strings that "sound as good or better than uncoated strings." All six strings are protected with DR's K3 Technology coating. The coated brass plated trebles are designed to work in harmony with the powerful wound strings, and provide more warmth, better corrosion resistance and fuller tone than traditional tin plated steel plain strings.
