Description
When Corey Beaulieu, co-lead guitarist for the metalcore band Trivium, wanted his own V-body styled guitar, he went to the amazing designers and technicians at Dean Guitars and together they have pulled off a great new take on a favorite body style beautifully! Custom cut-outs on the body, finished in a deep, classic red with black pinstripe bevels and featuring a Trivium T inlay, this guitar achieves a sublimely metal look that can't help but stand out.

And you can play it too!
The CBV1122 is fully loaded with Dean USA pickups (including Beaulieu's signature pickup The Ascension in the bridge position) and a licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge. Beaulieu's signature pickup, The Ascension, is a passive pickup with enough character and tonality for a lead guitarist but high gain enough to wail for the rhythm player. On the neck is Dean's Nostalgia pickup, a vintage style humbucker with the classic tones and balanced tonal response sought by all guitar players from all genres. All of that plus Dean's quality workmanship and the ever dependable Grover tuners and you've found your new favorite axe!

It can sing or it can scream. What do you want to say today?

"great metal guitar for the cash. "
Feature:
came with every thing u need. case, allen wrenchs, floyed.

Quality:
this guitar seems to be very solid. i havent had any problem with it yet. i would play it at a show without hesitation. and cosmeticly it is perfect, no blemishes.

Value:
i would have to say it is well worth buying. and if trivium is as big as it looks like they will be it could very well be a collectors guitar some day. they dont make them any more. my advice if u want it get it while u still can.

Desirability:
it is very sexy guitar. i am love for people to see me playing it. definatly grabs attention. and it is very light so u can run around on stage to ur hearts content.

Sound:
the sound is awesome if u are looking for a guitar with heavy metal tones. if ur looking for a more classic rock or blues tone then this probly isnt the guitar for u. however it plays both of those decent, just not fantastic. if u wanna know what this guitar sounds like pop in a trivium cd like shogun. that sound can be had if u have a good enough amp. it is definatly a heavy tone and it is very pricise.

Ease of Use:
this guitar is very modifiable. u can adjust every thing on this guitar, witch is good cause if urs comes like mine did e will adjust eveything. it took some time to get the right action i wanted, it came to low, but it was worth messing around with to get it right. also action doesnt get any lower on guitars, any lower in it touches the fretboard.

Support:
havent delt with them but i hear they are great. and they were awesome with shiping, ordered monday night got it friday morning.

Overall:
if this were stolen i would probly get another. it is by far my favoite guitar "so far."

"Best Metal Guitar Ever Made."
Feature:
the case this guitar came with is absolutely beautiful, my friend thought it was a sniper rifle before i opened it, and the inside is made out of velvet or something epic. it also came with a couple allen keys and the bar for floyd. As far as the guitar itself, the grover tuners are great, im in love with the pickups, and the floyd is unbelievable except for its a pain to switch strings.

Quality:
This thing seems bulletproof. Everything is tight, and well machined and assembled. It is extremely light for a dean, and makes it easy to use, although the wood seems extremely tough, i have not dinged it at all. also the paint is holding up nicely to my belt buckles attacks. The only problem i had with it was the switch was not fully contacting at first so it was playing at full volume, but once i flicked it back and forth a couple times, it quickly worked its bug out.

Value:
Absolutely great, this guitar msrp'ed for 1700 bucks and i got it for 500, and is worth every penny. seems like i got the last one though, sorry everyone. the case alone looks like 500 bucks...

Desirability:
sexiest guitar ever made. plus i am a gigantic trivium fan, and it has the ascendancy symbol and the trivium T so i am so happy with my choice.

Sound:
As far as the type of music i like to play, (which is mostly Trivium) this thing is unparalelled. the bridge pickup has a perfect tone for pretty much any type of metal, and the neck dean nostalgia pickup has a great blues-y sound for quick solos. If you listen to metal, this is your dream axe; as far as other types of music, i dont see why you wouldnt like it, but you probly wouldnt want this style if you dont play metal haha

Ease of Use:
This thing plays great. the action makes it basically lay the strings on the fretboard, and for metal it is perfect. I could shred at double the speed the minute i switched from my hamer to this guitar; its like an extention of my arm. The only thing is because of the cuts out of the bottom of the V, it digs into your leg when you are sitting with it. but you cant have epic style without some pain.

Support:
I havent had to call them so i dont know..

Overall:
I dont know how i could ever replace this thing, it is now extinct because trivium doesnt play for dean anymore, so its already a collectors piece. plus i love this guitar, im not selling it ever haha.
