Sound: I've been playing for over ten years and for the money this unit can't be beat. I doubt that any other manufacturer could do much better in this price range. More than adequate for home recording. Feature: All the effects I expect plus a few I didn't. And the fact that this unit has USB audio is a tremendous advantage. This saves a lot of time configuring an external USB audio device that would had doubled the cost of the setup. Also I should mention that the USB audio, although not officially supported, works just fine with Linux. Another advantage... Ease of Use: I haven't needed to read the manual yet.. That should say it all. Pretty slick arrangement of controls. Quality: Metal case. overall one of the better units. Perfect for your irresponsible teenage son that smashes all his toys and expect new ones the next day. Value: As stated above, this is definitely worth every penny and more. Manufacturer Support: haven't needed it yet. The Wow Factor: Not swayed be looks. Overall: This will inspire you to create. Get it.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us. "Great little box with some new features that are indispensable."
Sound: This thing has a good array of effects. I'm going with 8 because I'd say about 80% of the effects sound good enough to use. Of those, about 80% sound really good. Technicly that works out to a 6.4, but I think 8 is fair. ;) Feature: I'm giving features a 10 because of two main things. One, you can finally turn amp/cab modelling off and run this inline with all your other effects. Indispensable. Don't know what it took this long to come up with that. Two, the mixer/amp switch. YES, why didn't they do this a long time ago? Now you can put this unit on your pedal board, and still be balanced if you need to go DI into a PA. It also has your usual vast array of tones and effects that can't be beat, and it comes with all the usual goodies. Ease of Use: Let's face it, multis are never really easy to use. This one is about as simple as any. I give it an 8, but it would be hard for a multi to get a 10 from me in ease of use. Quality: 10. No complaints about quality. Mine is a refurb, and it works like a dream. Solid built. Feels and sounds like it would hold up for years. Value: 10. Multis also tend to get a high value from me. It would be hard to give less than an 8 to something that comes with so many sounds/effects/models for less than $100. Great for new players to experiment with. Useful for older players to get a grab bag of effects for occasional use, plus a good DI for backup. Manufacturer Support: - Did not use. The Wow Factor: This thing can be quite eye catching and cool. 8 because the real sex appeal is in boutique stompers, but this can still be an eye-catching device. Overall: I have to give this a 10 overall because of the two features I mentioned in the features section. FINALLY, someone is giving me a multi that I can use as an effects box on the end of my pedal chain. I can drive the amp with all my usual stompers, not the modeler, and use this as an EQ, Verb, Modulation, Gate, Pitch Shift, all those things that usually go on the end of a board. Then, I can turn all the amp/cab modelling on, hit the mixer switch, and use my regular pedal board as a DI! The boost/distortion stompers won't sound the same, so I still have to set up a number of DI presets. Still, very handy. I guess the disclaimer is that I haven't gigged with this thing as a DI yet, but it can't be any worse than the RP200 I WAS using as my DI.
