With the new GNX technology, and building from the new GNX1, the GNX2 has added more user storage and presets (64 factory presets, room for 64 more user combinations), stomp box modeling, and more front panel control. And you also get the DigiTech Talker, the talking guitar effect. Being an amp modeler, it comes with an Amp channel footswitch that lets you switch amp models within a preset. Reverb, Ping-Pong Delay, Phaser, Flanger, Compression, Gating, Whammy, Ya-Ya, Auto Ya-Ya, and Wah are some of the effects included with the GNX2. Included with your GNX2 is the PC/Mac editor/librarian software: now you can modify and store new sounds with full screen display.

DigiTech GNX2 Guitar Multi-Effects Processor Reviews

"This is The Stomp Box that is more than enough for a Pro or beginner and is the ultra quiet effects unit you always wanted for d"
Feature:
More features included than most people have time to play with. Voice box very good. Wah Wah totally noise Free. Still haven't figured out everything. Wish the Wah Wah had a Fuzz feature or I just haven't figured it all out yet? Records direct digital in the studio computer. No AMPs required or even wanted. I did my first 5 songs direct into a digital Roland studio unit. In Fact you will be very pleased recording without AMPs. What part of No Noise don't you understand?

Quality:
I've had mine for just under 2 years. Unit is tough. Wish I had a custom made hard case for it though?? This goes where ever my guitar goes period. Once you get one consider yourself spoiled for life unless you get the GNX3 of course! Like any electronic gear I do not throw it around. No problems to date. The worst thing about this unit is that I personally don't have more time to spend fine tuning sounds!

Value:
This item is the heart of my system. With this you can go and plug and play into any amp or sytem with minimum set up time. It is worth every dollar and then some. You will only buy maybe 3-4 regular boxes with limited control for the price of unlimited control. This is a no brainer.

Desirability:
This can make even a cheap guitar sound great. Very nice tough package deal rolled into one compact unit.

Sound:
Absolutely Super quiet. Put away all your old cheap stomp boxes and fork out the bucks for one of these and you'll never regret it. Absolutely outstanding.Only drawback to this is that you need to spend alot of time programming it, But that's the Ticket here anyway. It has some much control you can create your own sounds and manipulate Your Sound Your Way. Sweet. Outstanding digital recording in studio. You can't tell your not using an amp live. Setting sound different under headphones than from out of the amp. Gibson Blues Hawk into GNX2 8 band EQ then into 200 Watt 72 Kustom PA 8X12 sounds totally awesum. Wish it had separate fuzz/distortion section added.

Support:
Never had to contact but found them easy on internet. Wish I could get a hard case and figure out how to add more distortion?

Overall:
Would replace this with a new GNX3 only if and when this one bites the dust or when I do get a new GNX3! Wondering what 2 units together would both sound like? That could be real interesting. I researched others specs and features before my purchase and the multiple features win over all others. Once you realize you don't have to put up with All the noise and all those cords your hooked. All other Stomp boxes are just wannabees. Least liked feature is I can't figure out or make a good Fuzz/distortion sound yet??

Sound:
i have been playing for 30 years and have found that the sounds you can get out of this is amazing. for the price and sound quality i dont think i have seen a better set up. as for playing threw amps i have a hiwatt 50 and bassman 100 the bassman is were its at.This thing takes the place of a least 100 amps. And the sounds are to die for
