Level (Loud) controls the distortion output level of your guitar signal.

Low adjusts boost and cut of bass frequencies

High adjusts boost and cut of high frequencies.

Gain (Grunge) controls distortion gain from moderate to extreme.

Dual Outputs. The Amp output is for connecting directly to a guitar amplifier. The Mixer output's Cabinet Emulation circuitry gives you an authentic miked guitar amp sound when plugged direct into a mixing board or recording device. zZounds is an authorized dealer of DigiTech products.

Sound: I've owned one of these since they first came out --- I assume the current pedal has the same guts as mine. Why would they mess with it when it sounds so outstanding. Don't believe me? Then read just about every DigiTech Grunge pedal review ever posted on every site on the world wide web. But I totally understand your misgivings --- it looks cheap and it does look quite ridiculious actually --- it has a stupid name and it's a DigiTech which is generally associated with super mass produced lower end stuff --- also it's fairly cheap in price. And everyone knows that you only get what you pay for --- right? Well --- every rule has it's exception and this is one. I have been using mine for nearly 15 years and I still use it. I use it for one reason. It does what it does VERY --- VERY --- V-E-R-Y well. I used it today. I use it everyday. I'm not trying to say it's perfect and that it's the best pedal of all time or something. It's not going to be all things to all people. (It's a cheap DigiTech pedal for crypssake)! It's just insanely good at what it does. Anyway, I've got a ton of pedals from seriously expensive "super" pedals to used, abused and discarded classics. yet I always find time for the ol' Grunge in my line up. Try it in your chain behind a tubescreamer or a decent overdrive and you will be in distortion heaven --- front row center. Ease of Use: Ummm... use the knobs to find a sound you like and then find the place in your chain that makes the Grunge sound good to your ears. Simple. I often use it behind my Big Muff to brighten the fuzz a touch. The Grunge pedal is not particularly heavy on the low end sounds so it ends up being great for adding definition. Quality: Been going strong for about fifteen years and counting.

Sound: it sounds fantastic!, you can get a very wide variety of distortion sounds from this amazing product, and it even makes your clean sounds good too! Feature: 4 knobs that control the loudness, signal strenght, and the amount of heavy grunge sound you want Ease of Use: easy as hell! just adjust the knobs to your favor Quality: if droped from a couple stories this thing could be deadly lol, its made rock hard metal, a rubber pad for the acutal foot part that give good feel and no slip, Value: this thing will LAST! i couldn't find a better deal when i checked out the grunge pedal Manufacturer Support: they had some trouble processing my order the day after i orderd it but it was my fault but they got it all sorted out and i had it the next day! The Wow Factor: i dont know about sex appeal, but it definetly looks coool! its a light purple i think and has the word GRUNGE in the middle and is surrounded by little fake cracks that make it look cool Overall: probably the smartest buy ive ever made! saved me a good $300 from getting a new amp, for now lol BUY THIS PEDAL IF YOU WANT GREAT DISTORTION SOUNDS!!!
