Description
From Our Catalog
Inspired by seven of the world's most famous distortion pedals.

Distortion pedals are as important to the world of guitar playing as guitar playing is to modern music. How do you get a whole spectrum of distortion tones? You can spend a fortune on individual stompboxes (and have a pedal board the size of Delaware)... or you can put our new X-Series DF-7 Distortion Factory to work.

You not only get DigiTech quality models like the Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer, EH Big Muff, Pro Co Rat, Metal Zone and DOD Overdrive/Preamp 250, you also get a ton of EQ control. That's because the DF-7 features three dual concentric tone controls so you can customize each model with High, Mid, Midrange and Low semi-parametric EQ. If you're a distortion freak (and who isn't?), check out the new X-Series DF-7 at your DigiTech dealer today.

The DF-7 sounds so good because it isn't just pedal models. Digitech has also carefully modeled the cabinet and tube characteristics of classic amps associated with each pedal. It's this combination that truly distinguishes the DF-7.

Flexible Output Mode allows you to connect in stereo to your amps, mixer or mono to both.

"every distortion you ever wanted"
Feature:
All the tone control in the world is at your feet(for a stomp box at least). I would suggest buying a power supply though. With the rubber paded bottom this thing woln't slip.

Quality:
Like none other.

Value:
its worth it

Desirability:
very sexy with its carbon fiber look

Sound:
Sound? Amazing, all seven of them. Extremely versatile for all styles. Honestly I love this pedal. It just takes some time to experiment to find the sounds you want.

Ease of Use:
It takes time to get used to it but it's worth it.

Support:
dunnow, never needed it

Overall:
you know you want it so just buy it

"One Pedal-Many distortion sounds!"
Feature:
More features in terms of output options then I've ever come across in a single pedal. But if you want to use it like a regular pedal just plug in and go. you only need to hold the peadl down and count the led flashes if you're changing from the usual Guitar>>Pedal>>amp set up. Having stereo cab simulated outputs direct to a mixer is something I want to try out.

Sound:
For me all seven pedal sounds where at least in the ball park when auditioning with all the tone knobs at 12o'clock. Easy to adjust, If it sounds a little too thin roll up the low end, etc,,what could be simpler?
