The compact design, "real feel," and versatility of the ddrum4 Cast Precision Pads make them truly amazing. Each pad, featuring a real drumhead, is assembled with a rugged, cast aluminum shell. The design offers unparalleled tracking and a greatly enhanced feel. It's as close as you can get to the real thing!

The Cast Precision Pads read pressure (detects downward pressure on the head for muting and pitch bending) and position (detects where and how hard you strike the head when playing multi-sampled sounds).

The new Cast Precision Kick features "natural rebound," making it possible to play bounce on and off for even more nuance capabilities. zZounds is an authorized dealer of DDrum products.

Sound: The sound comes from your modual really . But alone its sort of loud with the 12" mylar head . I switched it to a mesh head and its not as loud as before . Feature: It has an XLR plug and it comes with the cord . You should have a back up tho .This thing is'nt going to pop out on you ! Quality: Its a tank ! 12" All metal . You can really beat on this thing...even with a wood beater...and with your whole weight... you know its going to hold up . Value: You'll never have to buy another one ever again ! The Wow Factor: It may not look as cool as the Rolands but it dose have a sort of 'industrial' look to it . That die cast "we mean business" look . Thats cool too . Overall: This thing is tough . No plastic here. It is solid and well built . Once you set the perameters on your head unit you wont get false triggers . On some units from other makers simply putting your foot on the pedal triggers the thing . Not this one ! It works well with the Alesis head unit I've got . No worries her mate.....buy it !
