Spin audio CDs and digital files with the Denon DNS3700 deck. Its nine-inch platter has a direct-drive motor, so it feels like an LP record on a slip mat.

The Denon DNS3700 blends the best of old school and new school DJ technology, making it one DJ CD Player that's sure to satisfy turntable vets and young bucks alike. The power and fidelity of digital audio -- including the ability to play both audio CDs and MP3 files from data CD-Rs or USB drives--matched with the feel and precision of a direct-drive, vinyl-topped platter makes the DNS3700 a professional and powerful DJ tool.

A Real-Feel, Direct-Drive Turntable

In order to be considered scratch-worthy, a turntable must have a direct drive motor. Direct drive turntables have a faster rotational recovery, allowing for turntablist moves like quick-cutting, backspins, and ramp-starts. Denon's DNS3700 features an authentic high torque direct drive motor pushing a generous nine-inch spinning platter, on top of which sits a real vinyl surface. Because it interacts with the platter in the same way an LP on a slip mat would, the DNS3700's action and feel are nearly indistinguishable from an analog deck, but with all the convenience of a digital Denon CD unit.

Vivid LCD Display

With its vivid LCD display screen, the DSN700 provides instant and ample feedback about track information including a song's name, time remaining, and BPM. The readout even displays a track's waveform as it's playing, allowing for more precise track mixing and cueing, even in the darkest of clubs.

Digital Sampling/Looping and Effects

These days, a professional CD deck simply has to include onboard read more looping and sound effect options. The DNS3700 sets itself apart by offering both auto (BMP-dictated) and manual looping functions with loop-trim buttons and re-looping capabilities. There's also a suite of five high-resolution effects, including echo, flanger, stutter, and filter sweep. There's even three platter-style effects: brake, dump, and reverse, each with its own dedicated button.

Advanced USB Features

Not only can the Denon DNS3700 host USB devices--meaning flash memory drives and external storage devices--but it also becomes a DJ MIDI control surface when connected to a computer, providing control over programs like Traktor and Serato with Denon's authentic, vinyl-feel, direct-drive platter. And, with its own built-in USB audio support, it doesn't have to be connected to an additional audio interface in order to function as a complete computer DJ rig.

The Denon DNS3700 is a forward-thinking DJ-style CD player that marries the power and flexibility of the computer DJ technology with the musicality and control of traditional vinyl turntables.
