The DriveRack PX boasts much of the same renowned technology found in other DriveRacks, but tailored specifically for use with powered speakers. The emphasis is on cleaning up speakers' sound and helping them use power more efficiently, thereby allowing for higher volume levels. Included preset programs cover most major speaker brands.

All The Essential Ins and Outs

On the back of the DriveRack PX are two XLR inputs with a +4db/-10db attenuator switch to handle different input levels. There are also Stereo Main and Sub XLR Outputs. Finally, you can plug the included dbx M2 Measurement mic into an XLR input on the front of the PX.

Perfect your powered speakers' sound with the DriveRack PX's Dual 28-band Graphic EQ. If you need to adjust a signal's dynamic range, you can utilize the on-board Classic dbx Compressor.

The dbx DriveRack PX Powered Speaker Optimizer provides flexibility, sonic excellence and intuitive control for performance applications. Specifically, the PX is designed to enhance and optimize the performance of powered speakers, all in an intuitive package that requires no special skills to operate.

Designed for Powered Speakers

With its highly acclaimed DriveRack technology, the dbx DriveRack PX is the first processor that's specifically tailored for powered speakers. Although powered speakers by definition require no amplifier or external processor, the DriveRack PX is an indispensable addition to any powered speaker setup, as it provides a number of impressive features that offer louder, cleaner, better sound than had previously been possible from a powered speaker system.

Includes dbx M2 Measurement Mic for Auto-EQ

Included with the dbx DriveRack PX is the dbx M2 measurement mic, which uses Auto-EQ to correct for audible deficiencies in the room environment.

I bought the DriveRack PX for my powered speakers to simplify my set up. It has done just that. I was already familiar with DBX since i have the DriveRack 260 and PA for my passive system. No need for extra crossovers, EQs, compressor/limiters, feedback control or real time analyzers taking up rack space. This unit does it all. With the included mic you can set up your system to any room's acoustics in a matter of minutes. For a Mobile DJ or Band this very useful and important. Great job DBX and Zzounds. I ordered the DriveRack PX 7/25/11 and got it 7/26/11. Just awesome!

The sound is clean, clear and detailed. It improves the bass response of any speaker. Makes any speaker sound its best.
Features
It is full of features eliminating the need for extra outboard gear. It is 3 or 4 units in one.
Ease of Use
The auto EQ is awesome. With a little reading of the manual you can set up any system. The included mic lets you set up to any room's acoustics in minutes. It doesn't get any easier than that.
