Dripping with '60s vibe, this battery-powered guitar amp clips to your belt so you can walk as you rock! Plug into the headphone jack for private practice.

The Danelectro N-10 HoneyTone mini amplifier gives you great sound that lives up to its name in a vintage-styled design that will catch people's eyes as well as their ears, whether you're a street performer or a practicing musician looking for an affordable way to turn up your electric guitar. The HoneyTone gets surprisingly loud, and allows a wide variety of tonal options between its volume, tone, and overdrive controls, which can take you anywhere from squeaky clean to covered in mud, with a smattering of suggested configurations for famous tones listed in the included instruction booklet. The walloping sound of the HoneyTone makes it perfect for use as a general practice amp, as well as a great portable option if you're heading somewhere you can't plug in.

Portability Is Key

The ability to pack up and move around with your gear is important, if you're on the road and looking for time to practice or want to jam with your friends without being burdened by your equipment. The Danelectro HoneyTone is designed to be completely portable, with a built-in leather strap on the top and a belt clip on the back, enabling you to have hands-free operation while moving around a room or a crowd. The HoneyTone can run either on a 9-volt battery (included) or an AC adapter (not included, but works just like with a effects pedal), and when you're running on battery there's nothing holding you back, so your tone can follow you wherever you go.

Three Knobs, Lots of Tonal Variety

The read more three knobs on the N-10 HoneyTone provide a simple, intuitive, and easy-to-use interface that opens up a ton of tonal options. If you want a clean, warm jazz tone, the HoneyTone can do that, and if you want wooly fuzz, turn up the gain and you've got it. The HoneyTone is designed for variety -- and the included tone suggestions in the manual can get you started on figuring out your sound.

1/8" Headphone Output

Dano outfitted the HoneyTone with a dedicated headphone output that bypasses the internal speaker, so you can play at any hour without waking the neighbors (or parents). What makes having that output especially cool is that, if you get a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter, you can run a cable directly from that amp output into your interface for recording and directly capture your electric guitar, taking full advantage of the HoneyTone's tone and gain controls to customize your sound. This means you can record killer electric guitar sounds silently whenever you please!
