Spruce and Rosewood Dreadnought Body

The SD500 Bowery's dreadnought body shape is capable of a big, powerful sound -- yet it lets you get nice and intimate the softer you strum. Mahogany Neck in C-Shaped Slim Profile

Articulate Fishman INK-4 Preamp

When you're ready to fire this guitar through an amplifier or PA system, be sure to take advantage of your four-band EQ control to shape the tonal contours of your signal. I just received mine today and had a couple hours to play with it. I really don't know what to say. It is just gorgeous!I got the gray and black one. The tuners are just smooth as butter and impressive looking. I LOVE the headstock and every detail of this thing is just perfect. The action is very low and the neck is thin and comfortable. I am not a fan of the D'addario ej16 strings as they seem stiff to me and I really don't like the bright sound. But on this guitar, they actually have a little warmth to them although still stiff. I will change them out tomorrow. But it honestly sounds so good. I am very happy with my purchase for sure. I enjoy working on my guitars and dialing them in, but other than a string change to my preference, this does not need any adjustments at all. I am also very impressed with the fishman ink- 4. It really allows you to dial in the sound and the tuner is super cool. It has a scale to show you where you are and turns green when you hit it. Very impressive!!!! The case is very high quality as well. I can't wait to get the strings I prefer on it, (May try several to get the right ones for me) but just absolutely love it!!!!! I have a martin, a takamine, both 6 and 12 string, an awesome ibanez and a custom built zager. This is up there with the best of them.
