For $500, I am simply blown away. This thing plays like a $1500 acoustic. The headstock is beautiful, the sound is clear and resonant, and the body gives out a huge sound. I'm a finger picker and this guitar has the clarity I need to play my music. The neck is also super comfortable and easy to play fast on. I love this guitar so much that I bought my nephew one for his birthday! He loves it too! We play them together all the time. You know what's better than a D'Angelico guitar? Two D'Angelicos!
