The 333 and 333-212 Infinium are cutting-edge, modern style Bugera amps fully featured for use in any situation or guitar style-the harder the better. The name says it all 3, 3, 3... three fully independent channels for three fully independent gain structures and tone stacks.
Channel Your Soul
The totally clean Clean channel that won't break up... great for jazz, country, blues and also great as a fat clean power base for players using external boxes for their OD and distortion. The Crunch channel can work as a "halfway dirty" sound for rock and blues if you crank the volume and use the gain as your volume. It shines as the heavy rhythm channel for a metal rig if you crank the gain. The Lead channel has the same structure as the crunch channel but with access to even more gain.
Each of these channels has its own volume feeding the overall master volume so you have total control over the level of each. The EQ section allows for unlimited tone shaping and big scooped out metal tones via the midrange control. The boost option of the FX loop allows you to set each channel at the same volume and then boost or cut the volume of the entire amp no matter what channel is selected- you can finally boost your rhythm or clean tone (yes, clean solos do happen).
Infinium Valve Life Multiplier Technology
Bugera's revolutionary Infinium Valve Life Multiplier technology is like having your very own technician inside your amp constantly monitoring and tweaking valve performance for the ultimate in tonal integrity and reliability. This revolutionary circuit not only optimizes the performance of each output tube, it dynamically balances the drive between them to more evenly distribute the load. With Infinium, your tubes last up to 20 times longer, saving you substantial money over the lifespan of your amplifier. Infinium also compensates for the effects of aging, automatically adjusting current levels to keep your valves sounding as good as the day they were installed.
If and when a valve does reach the end of its life, the system even tells you which one to replace. All you need do is replace the faulty valve and let Infinium take care of the rest for you. This all adds up to more consistent sound quality and longer life for your valves. Maintenance for valve amps has never been this easy!

"High gain heavan"
Overall:
I went into this purchase not expecting much considering the price.. I plugged it up and was amazed. I play with a tremendous amount of gain. I immediately cranked the gain to 10 on the crunch channel set the bass to 10 dropped the middle to 3 and set the treble to 10 and brought it out of standby. It blew me away! What you get is three channels, clean, and crunch, and lead, built in noise gate and reverb. This head is a complete surprise for the price.

"buyer beware."
Sound:
if the unit did function, i assume it would have sounded just like the 333, perhaps maybe more compressed since there are some additional wiring schematics on the boards not found in the earlier version.
Feature:
again, had the unit worked, and i'm basing this opinion/review/experience solely on the re-released run of the original 333 series, the line out feature is a nice addition for recording direct, or running sound direct in when mic'ing a cab is not always suitable or convenient. the damping switches on the back add a multitude of possible tonal palettes, and the using the effects send and return jacks are a nice way of getting a boost of volume and grit to your channel volumes. the mainstay of the 'infinium' series is that there is an indicator on the back of the amp that lets you know when a power tube fails. this is an interesting addition, but i cannot honestly say how useful it would be. i think a preamp failure indicator would be more necessary, as they are typically the first to fail in a tube set.
Ease of Use:
easy amp to operate--basic tube amp structure.
Quality:
the quality comes into question--at least for me--the unit i received did NOT work straight out of the box. being the tech geek i am, i removed the chassis, took a look around, and noticed some changes in the wiring and layout from the original 333 design. it's much more intuitive, and i daresay sleek. my main complaints are the plastic connections to the board, which in other amps are hand soldered and more durable. i believe this unit is inoperable mainly because of a plastic connection close to the octal rings on the board which was loose, almost completely unconnected, and for a copious amount of glue slathered all around the section of board that houses the master fuse and AC wirings. It seems that with all the glue, no power can be transmitted to the amp without being grounded out improperly. (damn you QC4!!!!)
Value:
reliability over sound and looks, this product for me, at least currently, is a DUD.i would pretty much tell any prospective buyers to look elsewhere in the market, and research their gear purchases thoroughly. i mean sure, this is a tube amp for under $600 that offers three channels and a myriad of features, but with the cost of the product being what it is, you could only imagine the corners that were cut during production, and the problems that may arise. especially in today's world and market, you deserve every last bang and boom for you buck--i say beware, and KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS AND A LOG if anything were to go wrong with your Bugera.
Manufacturer Support:
bugera/behringer have always been pleasant to deal with via a customer service prospective. their operators are typically kind and well spoken, and listen. the turn around time and getting your problem fixed is the issue. when my first 333 unit failed, it took around 6 months to get another working unit. when my second unit failed, they hopped on the ball and sent me this 'upgrade'...but now that i've received a lemon straight out of the box, i seriously doubt the reliability of the products that bugera manufactures.
The Wow Factor:
this amp has the potential for a lot of wow--it's rare to find a tube amplifier that delivers such a good sound for under $1k. with the features it does offer and the potential to do what it should if it were constructed properly and well, and if the company's quality control was higher, this amp, and the whole series of bugera amps would possibly dominate the market. sadly, with the technical issues and shoddy construction, they never will.
Overall:
long story short, this would be my 3rd bugera amp. i owned the original 333 series twice over, with both units suffering critical problems within the warranty period.
this amp is/was supposed to be an authorized warranty exchange via bugera/behringer to replace a dead 333 unit.
sadly, as i opened the box today (2-22-2012) and hooked the unit up to my cab and guitar, eagerly flicking the power switch to watch the warm glow of the tubes within, i was saddened.
the amp did not power on at all--after hearing the dreaded 'pop of death' from within the chassis of the unit.
something had gone wrong...terribly, deathly wrong.
i chalk it up to poor construction and craftsmanship. say what you will friends, i'm not a gear hater by nature, nor am i a snob--although i have owned some pretty fancy gear in my time.
bugera is at best a short term solution to a long term problem.
the sad thing is, is that your short term solution will further extrapolate your long term problem--i.e., being able to afford a decent amp--tubes or no tubes.
many novices and first time tube amp owners will rant and rave about how awesome this line of amplery is, until they too run into the inevitable failure of their unit. be warned veterans, and learn some, noobs.
