Controlling Your Reverb Settings

To control the way each setting affects your instrument's signal, your Boss RV-5 features effects level, tone, time, and mode control knobs. The effects level control dials in the amount of effect, the tone control affects how dark or how bright your output gets, and the time control determines the length of decay. Each control provides plenty of manipulation to the type of reverb you have selected on your mode control.

Boss RV-5 Reverb Pedal

Sound
I purchased this unit about 3 weeks ago and I'm pleased with it. The quality of the reverb is excellent and you have some control over the different types of reverb that this unit has to offer. I have also used this unit for vocals on my 4 track recorder which richly enhances my vocal tracks. This unit gives me the reverb that I require and then some. This unit gives you several types of reverb. The unit also gives you the ability to change wetness & tone of each type of reverb.
Quality
I own a few other Boss/Roland products and the quality is great. I do light traveling (once a week) with my gear. I have never encountered any problems with my other Boss/Roland products and I would guess that this unit would be no different.
Value
This unit is a little high on price, however with the respect I have for Boss/Roland and the quality of their products, I was sold!
The Wow Factor
This unit is not very sexy however it did catch my eye!
