The GE7 has 7 bands ranging from 100Hz to 6.4kHz, ideal for guitar sounds, with boost/cut of +/- 15dB per band. This lets you completely control your sound and eliminate unwanted feedback, particularly when connected after a distortion effect.

Sound: Really helps to shape your tone, or is awesome as a solo boost in your effects loop. Feature: It has more then enough bands and the level slider is a plus. Ease of Use: As long as you know what EQ does there no no learning curve for this pedal. Quality: Like all Boss pedals. Built to last a long time. Value: Well for a simple EQ I'd rather pay a bit less. Manufacturer Support: never had to deal with Boss directly. I guess that is good, never had a problem with any of their products. The Wow Factor: I like the look of all the Boss pedals. Overall: I use mine as a boost for my guitar solos. If it were lost or stole I would replace it immediately with the same item.

"straight As for ge7"

Sound: tip to make the sound better? just study the ranges - frequencies are sensitive - adjust to suit your need, your taste Quality: as ever - boss pedals are STURDY, strong to withstand all road conditions, weather even.. Value: good enuf for a great gear Manufacturer Support: haven't gotten in touch w/ the company which made the boss ge7 The Wow Factor: the color bothers me, light yellow, blue might be better, but its purely my opinion - my choice of color. i lusted for this product when i found what it can do, its a great gear to pomp my performances color versus the use and its contribution to me - i say id buy it even if its baby pink... :-) Overall: nope, i dont have a need as of now for other products- the ge7 equalizer works well w/ my boss bass chorus and flanger, and the best it can stand alone w/ my yamaha APX3.
