Small is Beautiful
The brand new DD5 multifunction digital delay pedal gives you 11 different modes. And with these big features in such a compact design, it's probably all the delay unit you need. Delay times range from 1 ms all the way up to a full 2,000ms. Most rack-mount delay processors can't deliver this kind of power. And delay time is continuously variable for precise custom adjustment. The Boss DD5 is a compact digital delay pedal with unprecedented versatility.

BOSS Quality Sound
The DD5 leaves other delay pedal units way behind, because it uses Boss's proprietary 16-bit AF (Adaptive Focus)* A/D conversion and 16-bit D/A conversion. This produces sound quality more commonly associated with expensive rack-mount units.

* Adaptive Focus (AF) A/D Conversion significantly reduces quantization noise by combining multiple samples to optimally match signal level through A/D conversion, delivering smoother, more natural sound.

Good Things Come in Small Packages
With 11 delay modes and infinite fine-tuning adjustability, a single DD5 can easily handle all your performance needs.

1ms to 2,000ms Delay Times
Select the general delay time range you want from 4 delay modes (1: 1-50ms, 2: 50-200ms, 3: 200-800ms, 4: 800-2,000ms). Then use the Delay Time control to dial-in on the exact delay time you want.

Real-time Delay Settings
Another easy way to set delay time is to just tap it in utilizing the Tempo mode. Connect a footswitch, like the FS5U, to the Tempo jack and select Quarter, Dotted Eighth, Eighth, or Quarter Note Triplet. Then tap the footswitch four times in real-time to instantly get a delay time that precisely matches the tempo you're playing. It's a feature that really comes in handy for live performance.

Endless Repeats on Demand
For an exciting effect during performance, use the DD5 to produce a backing part for soloing, then play a duet with yourself. In Hold mode, press the pedal to record a passage as long as 2,000ms. Rehase it to stop recording and start automatic playback. An LED indicator flashes while the DD5 is playing back.

Backward Guitar the Easy Way
BOSS gives you the bonus of a totally unique Reverse mode so you can play backward guitar in realtime, reversing phrases in a 1 ,000ms ko 2,000ms range.

Stereo Outputs for a More Spacious Sound
If you use the DD5 in skreo, a Panning Out (Except E/D mode) feature provides dynamic panning delay for spacious stereo effects.

The E/D mode outputs a dry signal from one channel and the delayed sound from the other. The delay can also be inserted into an effects loop. To enhance solos, you can produce delay effects that make maximum use of the stereo field.

"very nice delay pedal"
I bought this pedal from this website a few months ago. first of all, the service was excellent. very fast and very efficient. when i received the pedal, i unpacked it and ran to the band room, plugged it in and cranked up the volume. at first i was surprised at the number of sounds you can get from a single delay pedal. next i was a bit perplexed, as the pedal does so much, it takes a long time to get accustommed to all of the options. Once i read the manual and figured it out, I played around with the dealays and the reverse delay, but the part that interested me the most was the hold option. the only downside in this is that it only holds 2000ms, which is not a whole lot if you are looking for a nice, long repeat option. nice pedal. worth every cent.

"From bathtub slapback to endlessly clear repeats - smokin'"
I've owned my DD5 for a year now and still haven't found all it's sounds. Best part is that it sounds as good with the band as it does alone. This pedal is a "must-have".
