The AC2 has 2 individual outputs, one for the effected acoustic guitar sound, and another for the direct, unaffected electric guitar source. You can switch between outputs at the touch of a pedal and connect outputs separately to other effects units or amplifiers, for total sonic control and flexibility.

enough settings to get a good sound from any electric. the enhance and piezo settings brighten up the treble from a muddy jazzbox humbucker. Or use the Jumbo setting fill out the bass from a strat or Tele's overbright single coils.
Quality:
I own 5 Boss pedals and they all have the same time tested design. no bad switches or broken wires, just reliable.
Value:
A bit expensive for a single stomp box but buy one , you'll love it so much , you'd pay double to get it back!
Desirability:
There is NO Sex Appeal in a little stomp box!

Before you think I'm crazy , let me state for the record , that this pedal does NOT replace your need for a true acoustic guitar! What it Does do is instantly give you a great simulation of and acoustic guitar from the electric guitar you have in your hands!
