Six channels of tone, Blackstar's flexible ISF control, and a convenient USB output make it simple to craft the perfect tone for any style of music.

A 15W programmable combo, the Blackstar ID:15 contains many of the unique features of the larger ID models in a compact combo format. The True Valve Power and ISF features combined with the unique Voice control, Multi-Effects and USB GUI editing will accurately deliver the sound in your head. The ID:15 contains many of the unique features of the larger ID Series models. Blackstar's True Valve Power offers six distinctly different power valve responses. When engaged it delivers the response, dynamics, sag and break-up characteristics of a valve amp. The patented ISF control allows you to infinitely adjust the response of the tone control network between any of the traditional voicing. Deep editing and storing of patches is simple using the supplied Blackstar GUI software. USB connector also allows you to record your amp directly to your computer or to re-amp guitar tracks.

In short, these little amps are a great buy. The preamp and power tube settings are very dynamic and expressive. The amp convincingly covers a wide gain range from spanky clean to edge of break-up to full on grind. The effects are also very good. These amps are very loud too. I would agree with the marketing that they can complete with a tube counterpart of the same wattage.
