With good reason: Behringer has been developing and producing this type of processor for over 10 years, achieving pioneer status along the way. The Tube Ultrafex impressively combines their entire development experience with the sound enhancement characteristics of tubes.

Behringer T1954 Ultrafex Customer Review
The sound being warm an understatement . I mainly bought this unit because I was looking to recapture that vintage Urei Dj Mixer sound of the 70's and 80's. So in describing the sound. . . .I think (IMHO) it gives you that punchey low bass and the highs have that mysterious floating sound that sound like the drummer was using brushes instead of sticks when properly adjusted . Also give it time to break in , because when I first turn the unit on it didnt hit the mark for me. I know tubes have break in times so I let it sit in the on position for about 3 hours , then I started to play the music again . WOW!!! is all I can say. The midrange due to the surround processor gives a shimmering but mild hall effect which creates space in the music . This , I think helps to keep the listener from getting listener fatigue ( ear ringing .I highly recomend this unit for any club/moble Dj looking to spare the ears of the listener , or remixer looking to add that smooth sweet touch to a mix. Good job Behringer
