Well, the Eurorack MX1804X is part of a new generation of high-performance compact mixers that give you possibilities you didn't even dream of before. One of this mixer's outstanding features is its built-in stereo effects processor. For this purpose, we designed a compact version of our legendary Virtualizer, with 20-bit A/D and D/A converters, 24-bit DSP, 46 kHz sampling rate and the same set of algorithms found in the 19" model. Thus, the MX1804X gives you 32 presets producing a broad range of standard effects such as different reverbs, delays as well as various modulation effects. The effect module's return is added to the main mix via a 60-mm fader. However, if you need to use an external device, simply connect it to the effect send and effect return jacks. Additionally, the "FX Direct In" jacks enable you to send any external signal to the built-in effects module - and use it separately!

Six mono and four stereo channels - What else could you need?
The MX1804X has a 3-band equalizer with a sweepable midrange plus inserts for 6 mono mic/line inputs, and a 4-band EQ for the 4 stereo inputs. Switchable +48 V phantom power lets you use your condenser mics with the MX1804X, and the switchable low-cut filter eliminates unwanted subsonics below 75 Hz (18 dB/oct.).

The new Behringer Eurorack MX1804X is thus the perfect tool for bands needing a transparent and powerful sound both in the rehearsal room and on stage, and also want a studio-type effects unit. But for recording purposes, too, the MX1804X has a lot of features, such as additional routing options to the Alt 3-4 bus, giving you a supplementary stereo bus. Naturally, all necessary connectors are located on the rear of the mixer, making wiring in the studio mere child's play.

Aux Sends Give You Flexibility
The 2 aux buses (with aux 1 being switchable pre-/post-fader) are designed so that you can use, for instance, a true-stereo delay effect from the built-in effects module. Set pre-fader, aux 1 is typically used to derive the signals for the monitors. Like on all Behringer mixers, the auxes provide a maximum of +15 dB of boost, i.e. even with low-level signals there's no problem driving an aux bus, for example, to make a signal "vanish in the reverb."

Fast and Efficient - The Graphic EQ
The built-in 7-band graphic EQ allows you to adapt the sound to various room acoustics. Here, too, you need no external hardware. When mixing down a recording you can use the 7 frequency bands to give the overall sound the finishing touch. Especially on stage, you will soon come to appreciate the MX1804X's graphic EQ.

Effects, Effects, Effects...
The built-in multi-effects module (Virtualizer) includes 32 standard effects such as reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, etc. With its superior quality it is the ideal tool for mixdowns or live concerts. You'll be surprised to hear how this little module will enhance your sound.

High-precision faders for ultra-smooth fading
To give you super-precise control over all signals, the MX1804X's input channels, stereo aux returns, and Alt 3-4 bus are equipped with 60-mm Panasonic faders. A tape input/output, headphones connector and accurate level meter round out this compact, yet fully featured mixer.
