The Behringer K3000FX Ultratone Keyboard Amplifier does all that, and more.

300 Full-Range Watts

The K3000FX pumps 300 watts through two specially designed speakers that get every last hertz of tone out of your keyboards, synths, and digital pianos. A 1" tweeter voices the high range, letting delicate chords twinkle and shimmer, while the 15", Bugera-designed woofer supplies a solid, focused foundation for bass notes. The two speakers are mounted in a bass-reflex cabinet to keep things from getting muddy, ensuring an even response across your entire keyboard, no matter what patch you happen to be jamming on. Your band -- and more importantly, your audience -- will hear every note exactly as you intend them to -- and isn't that the whole point of amplification, after all?

That's where the Behringer K3000FX Keyboard Amp can come in handy. The "FX" in "K3000FX" means that this amp boasts an integrated 24-bit digital effects processing engine, with 100 fantastic-sounding, useful presets for you to jam read more with right out of the box. Reverb, flanger, chorus, delay, pitch shifting, and a ton of other effects are all at your disposal. Doubles As A Portable PA

"My new Behringer Keyboard Amp sounds so good," you'll think to yourself, "I wonder if I can use it as a self-contained PA system?" Guess what? You can. The K3000FX features a four-channel mixer interface that can either accept two stereo keyboards, a keyboard and two guitars, a keyboard, a mic, and an acoustic guitar, or any other small band configuration you happen to gig with. The XLR input on channel 1 allows for connection of high quality dynamic microphones, and each channel has its own effects send, so you can throw some reverb on the vocalist while keeping your instrument signals dry as a bone. "Behringer strikes again!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I can't see replacing this amp, since it serves my requirements excellently (for all 3 or 4 bands I'm in). My previous amp has lasted over ten years (and I bought it used!), so I expect the same for the Behringer. I would replace this unit immediately (lost/stolen, heaven forbid!).

Sound
To replace my previous keyboard amp, I was looking for more headroom and power, both of which are there! I was pleasantly surprised however, that the sound clarity improved, so that I was playing live at my previous amp volume, but the sounds were clearer and better heard by the audience (feedback from audience members who had heard us before).

Features
The digital effects settings seem great for the vocal microphone input, however, I do not need them for keyboard sounds. The 7 band E.Q. is great, since I can take down the low boominess and hollow mid sound characteristics much better than individual channel tone controls. The XLR balanced outputs are very hot (as opposed to my previous amp, which always had the soundman complaining), and I do not require any D.I. box! Total input of 8 mono (or 4 stereo) channels is certainly enough for any multi keyboard/module set-up! The 2 recessed side handles, in addition to a top handle make it much easier to lift this unit (it's a bit heavier than my previous one)

Ease of Use
No learning curve involved here. All the features needed are here, and the manual explains read more how to use the fourth channel as eiter send headphone only, with or without effects, or set it up to function like the other 3 channels as normal output..

Quality
It's only getting a 7 here because.....This is my sixth Behringer products purchase, and was the only one with an initial quality issue. There was an intermittent crackle in the tweeter horn, irrespective if the amp was played loud or low. However, it was immediately replaced by my friendly music store, and that one is perfect.

Value
The cost/value ratio of this unit is unbelievable. I have used Peavey, Roland and Yorkville amps, and this one outperforms them all at a fraction of their cost!!

Manufacturer Support
It wasn't required, since the music store took care of my quality issue right away!!

The Wow Factor
It's an extremely clean looking unit, since the inputs are at the back, and the controls hidden at the top rear. I also like the slight upeard angle (as opposed to my old amp), which allows for better sound dispersion to the audience.

Musical Background:
Part time keyboardist.

Musical Style:
Rock, The DOORS, now The Committments (R&B, Soul).
