Starve feedback at the source with the FBQ100 Shark, designed with outstanding adjustable preamp, line delay, noise gate and compressor features.

Whether you use it with microphones, acoustic instruments, or as a delay line for large venue loudspeaker systems, the Behringer FBQ100 is a "must-have" for your live and studio toolkit.

Quick and Clean

Thanks to its intelligent "Learn Mode," the FBQ100 can automatically equalize your PA and protect your sound system from feedback. Behringer's search algorithm ensures feedback frequencies are attenuated within a fraction of a second, using narrow 1/60 octave single-shot filters. The remaining filters automatically take action as required, adjusting only the specific frequencies causing the feedback, so your music stays powerful and alive.

Virtually any type of signal can be connected and converted.

Delay lines are required to compensate for time variations resulting from speaker positioning in large venues. The Behringer FBQ100's delay can be adjusted in meters, feet or milliseconds. The maximum delay time of 2.5 seconds corresponds to a distance of 850 meters. Combining several FBQ100s with the optional rack-mount kit puts a complete read more professional loudspeaker management system at your fingertips.

I do the sound for a couple of yearly conferences and most of them have a evening with live auctions where the auctioneer wanders around the room with a wireless microphone. In the past I've had to watch him like a hawk and keep him out of the 'no mans land' as he moved around. The past weekend I had installed one of the FBQ100s at the live auction event with 5 Powered PA speakers distributed down one wall of the venue being fed by a single mixer board and the FBQ100 feeding the speaker bank. I was very nervous at first with this setup as the auctioneer could/would be in near direct line with a couple of the speakers. For the first half hour I sat at the sound board ready to adjust the sound as he roamed around and was pleasantly surprised as the FBQ100 kept switching the filter around as he moved through the room. I had done an initial setup and set the FBQ100 up and configured/calibrated the unit to the room to get a base line which worked quite well. For the entire 4 hour event there was not a single chirp of feedback where in the past there was typical several feedback events as he moved around. I don't know how this unit would sound in a music venue but with a speaking event I can't recommend this unit highly enough. It changed my evening from one of 'on the edge terror' to one of relaxation, the unit worked flawlessly. I currently have 4 of this units and plan on expanding to a FBQ100 on every setup. This is a great and easy to use unit and I can recommend this unit without read more reservation. Tim
