Ultra-light, Built on a Legacy

The Behringer Europower EPX2800 Power Amp is created with groundbreaking switch-mode technology that eliminates the heavy transformer! Best of all, the Behringer Europower EPX2800 power amp also offers a clip limiter allowing you to get even more out of the amplifier without overdriving it or your speaker system. This built-in technology automatically senses when the amp is being overdriven into "clipping" and momentarily reduces the input level to avoid clipping distortion, making this a perfect amp for the hard rocking DJ. Super-reliable and provides even tighter bass performance than previous power amps because Europower EPX2800 delivers ultra-high peak currents on demand.

Panel Discussion

The Behringer Europower EPX2800 power amp inputs are flexible, accepting balanced XLR, inch TRS, unbalanced inch TS, and RCA connections. Take your pick of professional locking speaker outputs or touch-proof binding posts to securely connect speakers.

Built-In Crossover

The rear panel also contains a switch that allows you to put these amps to work in mono, stereo (two-channel mode) or bridge mode, which is always mono. A built-in crossover switch lets you put the amp into bi-amp mode, which sends low-frequency content (

I just recieved it 4 hours ago and I am very impressed at the overall appearance and quality of the epx2800. This amplifer is built like a tank. I am using it in bridge mode to power a Peavy 51" Lowrider house in a home made 7 s.f. vented enclosure tuned to app. 30hz. It brings the 800 watt pink r.m.s. subwoofer to life and that at 70 percent volume with out breaking a sweat. I have the automatic limiter switch on to keep it from clipping but I don't think i need it on. The amp is not working at near 100% capability and the hose shakes. The selling price is definitely lower than the overall value of this prduct and best of all; it is easy to use. My maines are powered by a QSC GX7 and this combo is absolutely a winner. I can't wait for my next gig!
