Discover the magic of aluminum! Hear and feel the power and attack of aluminum cones ultra-direct response and amazing tone. All Ultrabass cabinets share the ability to handle enormous power and will match perfectly with virtually any bass amp available. There is tons of punch available from the bottom onward. Add a custom-made and switchable 1 in. horn tweeter for crystal-clear highs on demand on each Ultrabass cabinet and you're ready to rock!

Two 10 in. Bugera aluminum cones and a 1 in. horn driver pump out 500 watts of menacing power packed in a compact cabinet. Ideally complements the bass power of the BA115 cabinet to form a perfect mid-size cab stack. You'll rock!

Aluminum cones have always been appreciated by musicians who choose them for their super-fast response and high-definition. The outstanding Bugera alu-cone speakers in the Ultrabass hard attack BA series let you feel the power of aluminum. They have been designed for the world's finest bass players. The response is extremely fast, powerful and clearly accentuated, delivering tons of punch from the bottom end. It will simply blow you away. Due to the superior properties of the aluminum cones, these speakers reveal fantastic transparency and tight mids that will leave you breathless.

Ideally complementing the low-end competency of the speakers and well thought-out overall enclosure design, every single cab in the Ultrabass series features a switchable (remotely if desired!) 1 in. custom-made horn tweeter for adding exceptional high-end punch -- a feature that no other manufacturer offers across a whole range of bass cabinets. Behringer has built every Ultrabass cabinet to withstand the rigors of everyday road abuse. Every Ultrabass cabinet has sturdy, recessed carrying handles and integrated rollers for easy transportation. You also get a shock-proof and acoustically transparent metal grill, protective/reinforced corners and rugged carpet covering. Input and link outputs are provided on both 1/4 in. and professional speaker connectors compatible with Neutrik Speakon. So no matter whether you crave the power of aluminum cones or the classic punch of paper membranes, you will be cranking out loads of power without worrying if your gear will keep up with you. This is yet another Behringer promise kept till the end!

"Looking for bang for your buck. Look to Behringer."
Feature:
It's got a switchable tweeter / horn, so if you want to sound even punchier, you can. The grill is sturdy and the cabinet seems well-built. There are wheels and handles to help make moving it less of a pain. Would have liked a volume knob for the horn, but on/off is OK, I guess.

Quality:
The cabinet is well-built and I haven't had any problems with the electronics, but I did have a problem with one of the speakers. Aluminum cones have punch, but they can be a little tempermental. I had my bass amp head at 1 and was tweeking my EQ. I played a Low B - which was enough to blow one of the speakers. Upon closer inspection, it wasn't "blown", rather, the adhesive holding the cone to the rim gave way. My guess is it was a manufacturing issue, not a design issue. Behringer replaced my speaker and I haven't had any complaints about the replacement.

Value:
Pretty good equipment for a great price. You could easily spend double the money on a 2x10 that isn't going to be twice as good.

Desirability:
This seems to be an odd category. It's a bass cabinet. It sounds good, it's affordable, it's well-built. There's nothing sexy about a bass cab.

Sound:
If you like the punchier sound of aluminum cones, you'll like the tone from this cab. If you prefer a warmer sound, you might prefer the BB210. I use my BA210 with a BA115 and the combination of the two gives me a good, balanced sound - especially for the money - and has handled different types of EQing well.

Support:
Customer Support was great to work with. They were very clear in what my options were regarding repair / replacement. They didn't force me into one alternative vs. another. Overall, one of the best customer support experiences I have ever had - music or non-music.

Overall:
I have been pretty satisfied. If it got stolen, I would probably get a BB410 and a BB215 - but only because my drummer drums so freakin' loud, I need to push some more air. :) I would change from the BA series to the BB series only because it is easier to add punch through EQ and effects, than it is to remove punch without sounding mushy.
