BBE 382i Sonic Maximizer (1/4" TS Connections)

Add this Sonic Maximizer to your guitar or bass rig and hear what happens! BBE's circuitry time-aligns your low frequencies so nothing gets lost in the mud.

The BBE 382i series delivers all the sound-improving benefits of a Sonic Maximizer with the convenience of ganged-stereo operation. The BBE 382i is suitable for any unbalanced audio source that uses 1/4" unbalanced TS connections. It's perfectly suited to a guitar or bass rig.

Two Knobs, Simple To Use

Turn the Contour knob to add delay times to lower frequencies on a curve. This counteracts the natural phase delay between the bass frequencies and high frequencies. Time-aligning your sound ensures that the whole signal reaches people at once, brightening the tone and giving the signal the "live feel" of what's happening on stage. The Process knob handles exactly how much of the sound is being effected.

Inside the Magic Box

Full-range speakers often reproduce the lowest and highest frequencies less efficiently than all the stuff in the middle. However, BBE's Sonic Maximizer series augment these frequencies intelligently and in conjunction with their delay curve, offering a solid, full-range signal in a single box.

Unbalanced 1/4" TS I/O for Your Guitar or Bass

With unbalanced 1/4-inch TS inputs and outputs, you can connect your instrument to the BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer when you're recording/performing. The +20dB of headroom allows you to process high-gain sources. BBE's build quality maintains your tone even post processing, with a 108 dB signal-to-noise ratio the dreaded "noise" monster can be kept at bay.

Purchased new for my guitar rig. Using a Peavey Ultra 120 all tube head into 2 4x12 cabinets, with a basic pedalboard.(delay, chorus, wah and Maxon SD9 overdrive)...Loved my sound but was interested in the BBE maximizer from some comments and videos. Mounted 382I in my rack, installed last in effects loop, output goes into effects return on my head, and was blown away. This unit changed my sound so much i can't not use it anymore. If anyone says they don't work, or are noisy, they are doing something wrong. Quiet, solid operation and rugged build. Seems to open up the sound and presence of the spkr cabinets.
