Now, anyone with a Mac or PC and Reason can strum or pick an all-solid-wood, warm-sounding, cedar-top, $3000 acoustic dreadnought guitar. Acoustic Strummer is capable of easily playing any chord on your desktop or laptop. Reason's NN-XT sampler plays the the Acoustic Strummer perfectly. It also integrates with any of 35 Rewire host applications -- including Pro ToolsÆ LE or Pro ToolsÆ TDM.

Acoustic Strummer provides superior-sounding 24- or 16-bit virtual stereo acoustic guitar. The samples were acoustically recorded at 24 bit resolution and in true stereo, with no direct outs or guitar cables and no doubling of one mono track. Acoustic Strummer lets you literally strum acoustic guitar chords on the keys of your keyboard exactly as if you were strumming a guitar. Play it live, record complete acoustic guitar parts, and sweeten exisiting tracks by strumming or picking the notes on the whites of your keyboard. Stream and easily record this audio into any Pro Tools session audio track via ReWire.

Even if you've never played guitar before or have been playing for years, you'll be able to immediately apply your own musicality, personal signature and feel to your performance. The patent-pending G-Mapping and playability of the this library delivers major-label, broadcast-quality results, while making the creation of superior-sounding acoustic guitar alongside your multi-tracks easy and enjoyable.
