Perfect for speech, theater, orchestra and choir sound reinforcement and recording, the U853R cardioid condenser hanging microphone is equipped with UniGuard innovations that offer unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference. With a consistent cardioid polar pattern, the mic offers natural sound from any angle, and superior gain before feedback. It is phantom powered and features an integral 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep filter that reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise. The microphone accepts interchangeable elements, available in cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional and UniLine line cardioid polar patterns.

Sound: The product performs exactly as it said it would. It allows our choir to concentrate more on the quality of their sound rather than the volume. Everyone at our church has been impressed so far. Feature: It's a choir microphone and it fits the bill for that nicely. Ease of Use: Very easy, just hang from the ceiling and plug into your mixer. Quality: Product is smaller than you would expect yet delivers good quality sound and volume. Value: Seems to be worth the price at this point. Manufacturer Support: I give ZZounds a 10 because they have always delivered excellent support and service. Never had to use the manufacturer so far. The Wow Factor: It just hangs there from the ceiling and does it's job. Most people don't even notice it's there since we purchased the white one to match our ceilings. Overall: I expect this to last us for years.
