Might not be the last mic I ever buy but definitely worth the try!
Sound
One of my bandmates owns the ST95MKII. The ST90MKII is essentially the same mic internally with only minor esthetic changes. His mic always sounds great so I was pleased to find one available. So far, I love it. I've only used for live performace for which it's been sensational.
Features
The mic came with a cord and stand. Nice to have extra cords on hand. My stand was 30 years old and held together with duct tape, so the stand was perfect. It's not the top of the line stand but you can't complain for the price and it's better than what a had!
Ease of Use
Plugged in, adjusted levels and went for it. Each room is different so it's always getting tweaked.
Quality
Well made. Not as heavy as my SM58, but this mic was a fraction of the cost.
Value
Abso-flippin'-lutely!!
Manufacturer Support
Actually I did write to the company for some specs. They replied promptly with what I needed and didn't try to cross-sell or up-sell me.
The Wow Factor
I heard someone else's version of this mic sound great consistently gig after gig, room after room. And the package deal was what sold me.
