The Audio Technica ST90MKII Dynamic Microphone may just be the most affordable microphone you'll ever be proud to own, and at zZounds, you can buy them in bulk at unbeatable prices.
Dynamic Means Versatile
Designed as a go-anywhere, do-anything microphone, the ST90MKII is a passive design, also known as "dynamic." Dynamic microphones do not require phantom power, meaning you'll be able to plug these guys into absolutely any mixer, PA, self-powered speaker. . . really any piece of audio equipment with a microphone input. Dynamic microphones also have a high degree of feedback rejection, and can tolerate exceptionally loud sound sources, making them great in live situations, and for placing in front of guitar amps or on top of snare drums. In fact, that one "industry standard" live vocal microphone you may have heard about is also a dynamic mic, just like the Audio Technica ST90MKII. . . except this one costs far less!

The ST90mkII is first and foremost a performance vocal mic. It features an on-off switch, plus it's a dynamic mic so it needs no phantom power -- you can use it with just about any mixer or recorder.

"Okay CHEAP Mics - NEED SPECS!"

The set that I got included 3 mics, 3 cables, 3 clips, and 3 mic stands - GREAT grouping!
Quality:
Seems to be pretty durable, dynamic mics are typically sturdy.
Value:
All in all, as long as you're not looking for great quality, these mics (in the set with stands and cables) are a great value. Fine for basic live applications, I would not recommend it for recording, however.
Desirability:
Maybe you really want a mic for club use, that you don't want to have to worry about getting dropped or beer soaked - you'll want this.
Sound:
Ultra-cheap mic with passable sound

Plug in the mic and go - no phantom power.

I emailed Audio Technica regarding the lack of specs (NONE included at ALL with the mics!)and got no reply.
Overall:
Good deal for the money, would buy again if lost, I wanted nice cheap mics, and THESE ARE THEM.
