Sound: Used this mic for 10 years now. Identical sound whether it is vocals or instruments. Quality: Sounds exellent especially with a decent pre-amp. Sound: Sounds identical to me to the 414 ULS B. these mics are all for those who can't afford the Neuman U87. I usually cut bit of the upper mids on mixdown, as it has a tendency to increase the 1K area of the source. Other than that, I've found it to be extremely accurate and virtually transparent.
Style of Music: Modern, funky electric acoustic rock.
