Manufacturer's Description for Ampeg SVT15E Bass Cabinet (200 Watts, 1x15 in.)

The world-renowned Classic Series Cabinets are synonymous with bass enclosures and the sound they are expected to produce. And because Ampeg knows that players have different tastes, they make the configuration you are looking for. From the undeniable tone of the SVT-810E to the unexpected low end of the extended range SVT-410HLF, Ampeg enclosures have set the standard for decades.

All enclosures feature dual Neutrik Speak-On(r) and 1/4 in. input/output jacks. Cabinets using high frequency horns contain a variable level attenuator. To prevent overpowering and damaging the horns, a resistive bulb is wired in series with the horn for protection. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Ampeg products.

Sound: I bought a Eden RS410 to replace my svt15e. I put them side by side and tested them. I found the Ampeg 15 much much clearer than the RS410 by Eden. The Ampeg reproduced my basses sounds like the fret board the squeaking of the strings etc. I asked my wife to listen and she was amazed also. You can,t go wrong with the Ampeg SVT15E.
