Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the Ampeg Heritage SVT-410HLF delivers legendary Ampeg tone in a premium design that is rugged, versatile and extremely portable. Four 10-inch custom-made U.S. Eminence drivers work seamlessly with the 1-inch horn driver to provide powerful, rich full-range tone. A built-in attenuator even lets you dial back the highs to customize your sound. The rugged cabinet is built using 15 mm birch plywood and features a tilt-back design, complete with a handle bar and casters for ultimate portability. Everything about it is classic Ampeg in a premium straight-from-the-U.S. package. It's Ampeg's Heritage, but it's your gear--and has been for over 60 years. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Ampeg products.

Sound: Outstanding tone, there is a slight tonal difference between the Heritage and the Classic SVT410HLF. It's very subtle, but it's there. If you can spare the extra $200 bucks, get the Heritage! That said, this cabinet has amazing bass tone. Clear, crisp, punchy, and LOW. I play 5 sting basses and this thing really expresses the open B string like know other cabinet I've played. I'm playing through an SVT 7PRO, great combination! Feature: It's a bass cabinet, it just has speakers and hookups for the amp. Enough said. Ease of Use: Great feature on this cabinet are Neutrik Speakon connections. Can easily daisy chain from this cabinet to another. Think I may save up and get a second one next year. Quality: Cabinet seems very sturdy and road worthy, that said It will mostly be used for studio. Value: Considering what I got for the price and all other cabinets I've played on, I'd say it's well worth it. Can't say enough about the tone. Hey,... it is Ampeg, you get what you pay for. Manufacturer Support: Haven't needed it. Did call a couple of times with questions prior to purchase. Staff was pretty helpful The Wow Factor: Although it's only a cabinet, it is sexy as hell!!! Looks better than the Classic. Overall: I suspect this cabinet will be with me for years to come. If it were to come up missing, I would most definitely buy another to replace it.
