The new B2-RE replaces the popular B2R by now delivering 450 watts of @ 4 ohms of output and adding a Neutrik Speakon® output jack as well as the 1/4" speaker outs. The 9-band Graphic EQ and XLR line out are still standard on the upgraded B2-RE.

Sound: Upgraded from my Hartke, Hartke is a good amp and can't complain, but Ampeg is the Cadillac. Feature: Eq, Limiter, simple to operate Ease of Use: Fine sound, in fact, it sounds like an Ampeg Quality: No problems, do't expect any. Value: Good price but Cad's are not cheap. Manufacturer Support: I've heard there good, but haven't needed to dial up. The Wow Factor: Got it, Me happy. Overall: I'm back to playing in bands and this is the right tool. :-)

Sound: bass, mid and treble with a 9 band eq allows you to find any tone you like. plenty of power for many cabinet combos...4 tens, 2 tens and a15 Feature: the limiter is a nice feature. eq on off button is cool. wish it had a tuner out Ease of Use: controls are kept simple. this is an advantage for someone who does not understand crossovers, frequency and slope. very easy to find any tone. turn the amp on, make a few adjustments on the eq and play. Quality: pots have a tight feel. tough case. all screws were tight Value: power and tone for under $600 Manufacturer Support: who needs support if you never have to use it? The Wow Factor: product is kind of plain looking but who really needs all the led lighting and polished chrome. i buy amps based on sound. Overall: a great buy for the starving musician who does not have $1200 for a head.
