The Alvarez RT16 is a perfectly formed travel sized dreadnought. Compact, yet plays just like a full size acoustic and constructed using many of the same components and techniques used in building our higher end instruments. It's sounds and plays great and is made for anyone going on a journey, sitting around the campfire, the younger player or even just to have around the house as it's so nice to pick up and play. It also comes with an Alvarez padded gig bag.

The Alvarez RT16 has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. We have made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they're easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.

All Regent Series instruments are fitted with the Alvarez bi-level bridge to carry more vibration to the top, which improves tone and resonance, and the PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain.

The Alvarez RT16 has been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Alvarez products.
