I have no idea why these aren't more expensive. Thunderous devil bass notes without getting muddy, easy to play given the size of the strings. This guitar is more responsive than my Gibsons and Martins, meaning that you can play whisper quiet, or pick harder and get LOUD with sustain that rings on and on. I do a solo act, and a baritone makes all the difference, nice and full sound. Look it up on YouTube, several demo vids there. I'll probably buy another just to keep open-tuned for slide work. I bought the Alvarez JC1 Case for it. Good case, fits it perfectly, though I've heard some complain that the controls on the acoustic/electric version make it too tight of a fit. Could be. It's a snug fit (which I consider a plus), but might be too snug for the electric. Personally, I got the acoustic version because I much prefer the sound of an acoustic through a mic.

Musical Background:

Been playing 40 years, pro and part time

Musical Style:

I play whatever gets the tips. Lots of oldies, reggae, Beatles etc. I've done everything from large clubs to street busking.
