The Alesis MultiMix 16FXD is a compact 16-channel 4-buss mixer featuring low-noise analog electronics, 100 great-sounding 28-bit digital effects, and a S/PDIF digital output.

The MultiMix 16FXD features high-quality analog electronics with 8 microphone/line inputs and 4 stereo line inputs on balanced 1/4 in. TRS connectors. The mic preamps include switchable 75Hz high-pass filters, phantom power, and up to 50dB of gain. Each channel includes a 60mm fader, 3-band EQ, and two aux sends--one switchable to pre- or post-fader. The master section features stereo LED bargraph meters, independent Main Mix and Alt 3/4 60mm faders, 2-track send and return, and a separate Control Room level control.

The digital effects section of the MultiMix 16FXD offers a comprehensive range of 100 28-bit effects, eliminating the need to patch in external effects, and enabling quicker setup and greater portability. Presets include reverbs, delays, chorus, flanging, pitch, and multieffects. A 44.1kHz S/PDIF output allows seamless integration with digital equipment and computers. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Alesis products.

Control

Front-panel channels (top down): 8 mic/line channels with 75Hz highpass filter switch and mic/line gain. All channels with 3-band EQ (high shelving at 12kHz, mid bandpass/reject at 2.5kHz, low shelving at 80Hz), aux send A (pre- or post-fader), aux send B (post-fader, onboard or external effects), pan or balance, pre-fader listen or solo-in-place, mute or alt 3/4, 60mm fader.

Front-panel other: Effect section with selector plus clip and signal LEDs. Aux return A level, effects/aux return B level. Headphone/control room out level with mix, alt 3/4, 2-track, and alt 3/4 to mix switches. Solo mode, 2-track to mix switches. Stereo main and alt 3/4 60mm faders. Stereo 8-segment LED meters.
