Natural-Feeling Playing Surfaces

The DM6 USB Kit features Alesis' natural-feeling playing surfaces, which are designed to reduce vibration and provide a more nuanced feel. To accurately reproduce acoustic drums, the DM6 USB kit features a dual-zone snare pad that allows you to dial in a snare drum sound in the center and a rim click, rimshot, or something totally different on the rim.

The Alesis DM6 USB Kit also comes with three tom pads, an upright kick drum pad, hi-hat, crash, and ride cymbal pads. It even comes with an Alesis bass drum pedal and the kick pad is compatible with any single or double bass drum pedal.

Great Sounds

The DM6 USB kit features the brand-new DM6 module with a built-in collection of high-quality drum, cymbal, and percussion sounds. The module allows for 10 presets and five custom slots to edit and save custom-built drum kits. For even more sounds, there's a USB output that sends drum hits as MIDI signals, which allow the DM6 to act as a trigger-to-MIDI interface. Using this function, the drum and cymbal pads can trigger drum-module software such as BFD, Toontrack, or Reason for a limitless collection of sounds.

The Alesis DM6 USB has headphone and amplifier outputs to allow for quiet practices or loud performances. In addition, a stereo input jack on the module means an iPod or CD player can be pumped in for jam-along learning sessions.

Heavy-Duty Hardware

The DM6 USB Kit mounts on a heavy-duty aluminum rack with standard 1 1/2" tubing that allows for kit-expansion with various clamps and mounts.
