That's why the Alesis DM5 sports the Expanded Dynamic Articulation feature, allowing drum sounds to change volume, tone, and pitch depending on how hard they're hit zZounds is an authorized dealer of Alesis products.

Sound: Using a bass head with a a seven band equalizer I can really dial in my roland pads the way I want to. Quality: Been using for 6 years now with not one problem and it was even dropped once!

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us. "dont judge the pads when reviewing the module! 14 yrs of use and still rocking! (on my second unit only due my own abuse)"

Sound: the sounds are great. if you've been around the digitial world for awhile this is incredible until you get to the roland td12 and up. i also have the td3 this is great! Feature: again, until you hit the roland td12 this has more features and sounds the lesser rolands. Ease of Use: perfect, out of the box and after wiring the triggers. i barely had anything to do w/ adjustments for xtalk, etc. that is coming from a fairly good understanding of triggers work. if you dont understand how or where to place your triggers well you'll be in hell but thats with any unit. it also depends if you're using pads or acoustics. Quality: great! its durable, ive used it extensively on the road studio and practice. its had booze and all other sorts of "liquids" dumped or shot on it. its been dropped and even fallen of speakers. after the scratches, wear, and abuse it still rocks. Value: nothing touches this for the price. i have 2 units and other rolands. this rocks. even use it in combination w/ td3. just way too many much better sounds. Manufacturer Support: dont know? never needed them after 14 years of using this. The Wow Factor: its hot! its all black. easy to read screen... like ive said, until you jump into the 'over 1000$' category, you wont touch this. these other reviews are reviewing the pads as well. the pads that come with this (if you get the kit) are crap. bad mounts and all. the module rocks. Overall: i just wish i could actually load other sounds into this module. would be great if i could have some memory of sorts with this.
