WMS 40 - The Professional Entry-Level Wireless System
Looking for superior sound on a budget? The professional WMS 40 is for you. This entry-level wireless system operates in the UHF range and is ideal for small stages, clubs, concert tours, worship centers, hotels, fitness centers, etc. The WMS 40 stands for easy handling, excellent performance, and a very affordable price.

Wireless Made Easy
The WMS 40 disproves all prejudices against wireless systems. Easy to use and flexible, it is a genuine plug-and-play system: plug it in, insert batteries, and power up. Fixed preset frequencies allow you to unpack and use the system without studying the manual first. A complete set of indicators makes it easy to check system status.

Superior Sound Made Affordable
Even though the WMS 40 is one of the most cost-efficient wireless systems available today, it provides the high level of quality, sound, ruggedness, and reliability AKG is known for. Advanced circuitry ensures smooth operation and perfect sound even under difficult conditions.

Handheld or Bodypack, the Choice is Yours
The Handheld System includes an HT 40 handheld transmitter with D 880 microphone element, an SR 40 receiver, and a stand adapter. The high quality D 880 element provides the same brilliant vocal sound as its hardwire Emotion Series counterpart. The Bodypack System comprises a PT 40 transmitter for use with an optional microphone of your choice and an SR 40 receiver. Either system includes batteries for the transmitter and an AC adapter for the receiver.

SR 40 Diversity
The SR 40 diversity is a stationary receiver for all WMS 40 and microtools Series transmitters. Operating in the 710 MHz to 865 MHz UHF range, the SR 40 diversity is perfectly suited for small stages, clubs, small touring systems, places of worship, hotels, gyms, etc. The plug and play concept and fixed preset frequency let you set up and operate the system quickly and efficiently even if you are not a trained sound engineer.

Professional outputs include a balanced XLR and unbalanced TS 1/4 in. jack for connecting to every kind of equipment. An output level control allows you to match the SR 40 diversity's output signal to the input stage of the subsequent device. The rugged half-rack case gives you the choice of using the receiver free-standing or mounting it in a 19 in. rack.

Features:
Digital Four Level Diversity system for interference-free reception

Rugged metal case

Full metering for easy status monitoring

Professional XLR and 1/4 in. outputs

GB 40 Guitarbug
The GB 40 guitarbug is probably the easiest way to turn a guitar, bass, or portable keyboard into a wireless instrument.
The FlexJack swivel jack plug will mate with any type of output jack and is spring loaded to hold the GB 40 securely against the instrument. In addition, the GB 40 is so small it is almost invisible and won't be in your way while playing. Since the GB 40 sits right on top of the instrument's output jack, the noiseless on/mute/of switch and gain control are always within easy reach. Integrated charging contacts allow you to charge the battery quickly and easily on the optional CU 40 charging unit, without having to remove the battery.

Features:
FlexJack swivel jack plug matching every guitar output

Extended frequency response optimized for guitar and bass

Integrated charging contacts

Optional CU 40 charger for reduced operating cost

"if your spending 300 on wireless get this"
Feature:
not many features just quality and affordability-(even though 300 bucks is still pretty damn steep for me) im kind of pissed that there is no carrying case included, even nady gives you a frggin case and the case is pretty damn hard to find

Quality:
seems durable but looks knind of facy so i figure ill just take care of it, especiallly the "bug transmitter

Value:
i think it should cost 250 at most but hey everything else costs more than its worth

Desirability:
looks cool works good and no belt pack

Sound:
almost perfect, sound quality is damn close if not the same to wired. if your inexperiened with wireless, you will think, what the hells wrong with this thing? but once you know how everything works its pretty good, it takes a few minutes to setup according to your rig but it ll be worth it to take the time rather than just plugging it in and expecting everthing to be right overall satisfied plus it looks cool

Support:
didnt have to deal with akg but if ny one from there is reading this "INCLUDE CASES WITH YOUR PRODUCTS!" i was going to cll them but their in austria or someting and the phone number had like ten numbers, but thats just me being lazy and american

Overall:
i wish i could try every other thing to compare but id rather be jamming i just went with my gut and im pleased
